VGI Takes Home Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2020 in a 2-Year Streak for Highest Corporate Brand Value

VGI PLC, the leader of Offline-to-Online (“O2O”) solutions across advertising, payment and logistic platforms, was presented the Top Corporate Brands 2020 Award for achieving the highest corporate brand value worth THB 68bn (as of 27 November 2020) under the media category at the ASEAN and Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2020 event, jointly organised by the Master in Marketing and Branding Programme (MBM) under the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn Business School, and the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The award was presented to Nelson Leung, CEO of VGI, by Prof. Dr. Bundhit Eua-arporn, President of Chulalongkorn University (the event chairperson).

This award is a result of the valuation conducted under the Corporate Brand Success Valuation (CBS Valuation) tool developed by Prof. Dr. Guntalee Ruenrom and Dr. Ake Pattaratanakun of Chulalongkorn University with the aim to create a systematic mechanism to measure corporate brands in Thailand and the ASEAN region in monetary terms in order to encourage leading companies to set their organisational efficiency goals and strive for strong growth and business sustainability, which in turn will lead to greater stakeholder confidence and contribute to the strength and sustainable growth of the national economy and the region at large.
