VGI PLC, the market leader in Offline-to-Online (“O2O”) Solutions across advertising, payment and logistics platforms, supports UNICEF
to help children facing malnutrition crisis, offering media airtime sharing to raise public awareness about the global issue and UNICEF’s ongoing efforts to save malnourished children from a fate that seems otherwise sealed.

Food insecurity is a crisis long-affecting over 820 million people around the world, especially children. Severe acute malnutrition is a leading cause of death in children under 5. The COVID-19 pandemic has worsened the situation, leaving over 47 million children at risk of dying. Urgent action is required to provide timely prevention and treatment critical to a child’s survival and development. With support from public donations, UNICEF is providing life-saving therapeutic food to feed severely malnourished children and help them start off their recovery. Donations are also being used to support other programmes of UNICEF to protect and help children in Thailand and beyond to live a healthy and fulfilled life.

Given VGI’s firm commitment to creating sustainable solutions for the society, environment, and all stakeholders, we recognise the crucial role we could play in raising public awareness about important global matters. Hunger is entirely solvable. No child should die from starvation.
We hope this campaign will awaken the spirit of sharing and compassion and serve as a reminder that we all could help our fellow human beings according to our means.
