VGI’s Volunteers Handout Scholarships and Educational Supplies for Students at Ban Na Jan School, Yasothon Province

VGI PLC, the leader of Offline-to-Online (“O2O”) solution across multiple platforms, led by Mr. Marut Arthakaivalvatee, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and VGI’s volunteer team, visited Ban Na Jan school in Loeng Nok Tha district, Yasothon province, to provide scholarships and educational supplies, including notebook computers and sport and music equipment, worth THB 600,000, for students to be able to better develop their skills and competencies as part of the “One Day, One Thousand Smiles” project, running for 13 years. The team also participated in the school’s reforestation activity. This is part of the Company’s mission to deliver sustainable impacts for all stakeholders, society and the environment, and its recognition of the importance of education for the nation’s children and youth.

VGI participated in this activity with the aims to contribute towards the wellbeing of the people in the society, and specifically, to promote equal opportunities and improve educational quality for all by extending support to the most disadvantaged schools in rural communities. Moving forward, the Company is firmly committed to conduct its business in an efficient and socially responsible manner to deliver long-term social impact and give back to society in a sustainable way.
